Non-Degree Students

Welcome to the University of Illinois!  Did you know that you are not required to be formally admitted to a degree program to take credit courses at Illinois? If you currently are not a degree-seeking student but are interested in taking courses, please fill out the form below, and a representative from the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) will be in touch shortly.

The Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) provides a range of enrollment services to students interested in taking online courses for college credit. For many students, working with CITL to become a non-degree student offers opportunity to explore programs prior to making a full commitment to a degree program. It's also a great opportunity to establish academic history for students interested in pursuing admittance to a degree program.
