The Workplace Training and Development (WTD) Undergraduate Certificate of Specialization introduces undergraduate students to how organizations design, deliver and evaluate employee learning. The program focuses on foundational concepts in workplace training and development while supporting the development of practical, career-relevant skills.
The certificate consists of three courses from the Human Resource Development curriculum, including two 400-level courses and one 200-level course. All courses are delivered asynchronously online over 16 weeks, allowing students to complete the certificate alongside their primary field of study. Coursework may also be applied toward the Learning and Education Studies major.
Open to undergraduate students across the university, the program supports broader access to workforce-focused credentials and aligns with institutional goals related to student success and career readiness.
