The University of Illinois’ Online Bachelor’s in Earth, Society, & Environmental Sustainability ranked #6 in Non Profit Colleges Online’s 2016 Best Online Bachelor’s in Environmental Science & Sustainability.

This ranking was part of Nonprofit Colleges Online’s Students Before Profits Award series, which honors public and nonprofit colleges and universities and their online degree programs. This award recognized the top 15 Bachelor’s programs in the nation.

Rankings were based on affordability and quality of the online or hybrid degree program, taking into consideration rankings by other national publications.

The Earth, Society and Environmental Sustainability program is a fully online Bachelors of Science degree with courses addressing today’s key issues associated with sustainability and the environment. Concentrations are offered in Society & Environment or Society in the Earth System, and students can choose from specializations in Sustainable Business, Environmental Informatics, and Sustainable Societies.
