The Master of Social Work (MSW) Outreach program accepts students with or without a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) to enroll in foundation and advanced courses in online and blended (online with face-to-face components) formats.
The face-to-face component of blended courses meet on weekends one time per month on the Urbana-Champaign campus so that students can begin the program while continuing to work in their communities. Concentrations are available in Advocacy, Youth and Family Services, Health Care, Mental Health, and School Social Work.
Students with a BSW should apply by December 1 for a Spring Semester start.
Students without a BSW should apply by January 15 for a Summer Semester start.
