Tuition and fees are direct costs charged by the university. If you live in university housing, the cost of attendance also includes indirect costs, such as food, housing, books, supplies, and other expenses. The university will not bill you for these costs unless you live in university housing. Use the Illinois Cost Calculator for an estimated cost of attendance.
Beginning in Fall 2025, all students enrolled in degree-seeking or non-degree academic credit-bearing experiences that are not based on campus (including off-campus and online) will be assessed a$3 per credit hour fee. Consult the Office of the Registrar for more information about tuition and fees.
