Educational Administration and Leadership: Principal Preparation offers graduates a program that embraces the broad array of leadership positions in elementary/secondary education. Educational leadership and practice are emphasized in the program. Specialized study provides preparation leading to an Illinois Principal's License (formerly known as Type 75) for elementary/secondary principals and assistant principals. The program is for practicing educators at all levels with at least two years of successful full-time experience as an educator who want to learn how to increase their effectiveness as an educational leader and pursue a position such as principal, assistant principal, or other administrative position.
