The Certificate in Health Communication is a 12-credit program that allows students to choose from a large selection of health communication courses to fit their individual needs. It is not only ideal for health professionals who are interested in health communication and already have a master's degree, but also those who may not feel ready to commit to a two-year degree program, but would like to take classes to apply to a degree later. The program is also ideal for those who would like to focus in one specific area of health communication (interpersonal, organizational, or social/mediated health communication) but do not need or want to take classes in the other areas. The certificate can be completed in less than a year. If you'd like to learn more, please email hcom@illinois.edu, or call Lauren Weiner at 224-484-0425.
