Diversity & Equity in Education Ed.D. Overview
Illinois’ online Diversity & Equity in Education (DE) Ed.D. is a 64-credit-hour program with 8-week-long sessions in fall and spring and 6-week-long sessions in summer. The program is designed for educators and education professionals committed to fostering social justice and equity across P-16 learning environments.
Through rigorous coursework and hands-on experiences, you will explore critical issues related to diversity, inclusion, and social justice in education. The program equips you with transformative approaches to creating more inclusive and equitable learning environments where all students can thrive.
The DE concentration is part of the Doctor of Education in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership. As a graduate, you will be prepared to lead change and advance diversity, equity, and social justice across educational settings.
