The Chez Veterans Center (CVC) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is a one-of-a-kind facility for military student Veterans and their families. CVC provides services and support to those currently serving or who have previously served in the United States Armed Forces, the Reserves, or in the National Guard, as well as their dependents.
The CVC, established in 2015, is a primary driver behind the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s place among U.S. News’ top 25 U.S. universities for veterans. The center’s staff includes veterans and military-connected people, and provides services that include academic and career services, individual and family counseling, assistance in making the transition from a military environment to a college or university, peer mentoring, and more.
