What do I need to do to enroll in online courses?

- Register online
- Degree-Seeking Students: If you are a degree-seeking student, you may register for online courses via Student Self-Service.
- Nondegree Students: Nondegree students must register using Online Nondegree Enrollment Form.
- Self-Paced Students: Degree-seeking and nondegree students may enroll in online self-paced courses using CITL’s Online Enrollment Form.

Where do I get the textbooks?
Degree-Seeking Students, Online Nondegree Students, On-Demand
When you receive the list of required textbooks in the course syllabus, you may order the required textbooks from the Illini Union Bookstore on the Urbana-Champaign campus by ordering from the Illini Union Bookstore or by calling the bookstore at 217-333-2050. If you visit the bookstore, the books can be found in the Textbook Information Center downstairs. The cost and postage for all textbooks must be prepaid. You can charge them using VISA, Discover, or MasterCard. If you are ordering books elsewhere, be sure to ask for the correct edition and year of publication.
What do I do if I enroll in the wrong course section?
Degree-Seeking Students: Degree-seeking students may drop or add online semester-based courses through Student Self-Service just as you would for face-to-face classes. If you are unable to drop or add your course via the Student Self-Service website, immediately contact your College office.
Nondegree Students: For assistance contact Illinois Online.
Self-Paced: If you are a Self-Paced Student contact Illinois Online.
