The Department of Applied Health Sciences now offers a 12-credit-hour certificate in Recreation, Sport, & Tourism. Students earn a certificate by completing three, 8-week courses. Choose from the course options below to tailor the certificate focus area to fit career needs. Students admitted to the RST master’s program may transfer certificate credit hours.

    • RST 515—Marketing in RST (First 8 Weeks)
    • RST 516—Finance & Budgeting in RST (Second 8 Weeks)
  • Choose One Specialty Course:
    • RST 502—Critical Issues in Recreation Management (Second 8 Weeks)
    • RST 520—Critical Issues in Sport Management (Second 8 Weeks)
    • RST 530—Critical Issues in Tourism Management (Second 8 Weeks)
